When Mike and I went to Nebraska Furniture Mart and met with Jean Dockweiler to select our appliances I already knew that I wanted the GE Cafe Series. I had the opportunity to see the new styles at the 2019 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) and was excited about the new copper handle feature. Of course, that was not the only reason. The Cafe Series appliances fit not only my style, but also fit the Living In Place concept of Safe-Healthy-Comfortable.
I will always have peace of mind with cooktop technology that senses the presence of cookware and turns off the burners when cookware is removed. I can maintain a worry-free environment in the kitchen with a control lock capability that prevents unintended burner activation. No worries about those accidental boil overs, since the cooktop is not hot, I just remove the pan, wipe up the mess, and replace the pan. So easy to clean!
Smart 4-Door French-Door Refrigerator
This refrigerator has the convertible drawer with a Soft Freeze setting and a Hands-free Autofill dispenser. Both were major selling points. It is so easy to sit the glass in the door and push autofill to fill your glass especially for arthritic hands or children. The convertible drawer is a great place to store water, drinks, and snacks so the main door stays closed to conserve energy with indecisive people . And the copper handles were a great addition
With its’ adjustable racks and third shelf for larger utensils and a sanitize feature this dishwasher is a healthy part of the kitchen. Raising it off the floor makes it easy to load and unload whether you are tall, short, standing or sitting.
Let’s build something together.
